In the wake of Nvidia’s now cancelled Geforce Partner Program, graphics card manufacturers across the world have been preparing to create new Radeon-specific sub-brands, effectively giving all well-known brand names to Nvidia while leaving competing graphics cards with little to no brand recognition.

While GPP has been cancelled, many of its effects are still evident, as graphics card manufacturers were working on new Radeon graphics sub-brands and these efforts are unlikely to go to waste. ASUS currently seems committed to maintaining their new AREZ sub-brand, giving Nvidia exactly what they wanted while appearing as if they didn’t force the change.

Today, a new series of Radeon graphics cards has appeared from MSI, the MECH 2 series who seems to be Radeon RX exclusive. TweakTown has stated that this new series will ship with two SKUs, offering consumers RX 570 and RX 580 variants.

Right now, there is no trace of either of these graphics cards on MSI’s website, though the GPU seems to offer a similar cooling solution to the company’s ARMOR series. Output-wise the RX 580 MECH 2 includes DVI-D, two HDMI and two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs.
