Nvidia reveals its GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti

Pricing and Performance Confirmed! Nvidia reveals its RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti

Nvidia has officially revealed two new RTX 50 series graphics cards, the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti. These new GPUs will bring the benefits of Nvidia’s “Blackwell” graphics architecture to more gamers, paving the way towards neural rendering thanks to Nvidia’s new “Neural Shaders”.

With these new graphics cards comes optimised support for DLSS 4, Nvidia’s enhanced AI upscaler. Thanks to Nvidia’s 5th generation tensor cores, Nvidia’s Blackwell GPUs can now complete AI workloads faster. Additionally, with the RTX 50 series comes support for DLSS Multi-Frame Generation.

The GeForce RTX 5060 isn’t just about AI magic. This series of GPUs also offers a healthy boost in traditional graphics performance. These gains are augmented by Nvidia’s DLSS features, delivering further gains. Regardless, Nvidia’s 50x performance claims below are very misleading.

RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti Performance Gains

With their RTX 50 series, Nvidia’s promising both framerate and latency benefits over Nvidia’s older RTX 40 and RTX 30 series graphics cards. When comparing Nvidia 60-series graphics cards, it’s clear that Nvidia’s new RTX 5060 can deliver a better gaming experience than its predecessors. Even without frame generation or multi frame generation, Nvidia’s RTX 5060 deliver notable performance gains over its 40-series and 30-series counterpart.

We see a similar story for the RTX 5060 Ti. Compared to Nvidia’s RTX 4060 Ti, the new RTX 5060 Ti is faster than its predecessor, with and without multi-frame generation. Nvidia’s new RTX 5060 Ti can give gamers a stronger gaming experience.

RTX 5060 Series Specifications and Pricing

Pricing for Nvidia’s RTX 5060 remains the same as that of their last-generation RTX 4060. That means that Nvidia is delivering more performance without asking for more money. That means that Nvidia’s RTX 5060 should deliver better value for money to gamers. Nvidia’s RTX 5060 will continue to feature 8GB of VRAM. This is something that will annoy some gamers, as a lot of modern games are capable of utilising more VRAM, event at 1080p.

Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti will be available starting tomorrow, April 16th, with pricing starting at $379. Note that the GPU’s 8GB version will have pricing starting at $379, while the GPU’s 16GB version will have prices starting at $429.

Nvidia’s RTX 5060 graphics card will become available in May.
