Overclockers UK confirms its AMD Radeon RX 9070 pricing ahead of launch

Overclockers UK has listed what appears to be finalised prices for its stock of Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT graphics cards (see our review here) ahead of tomorrow’s launch at 2 PM GMT. The retailer has confirmed they have “1000+” GPUs in stock for each brand, with more on the way.

With this level of day-1 stock, AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 series may be the first GPUs of 2025 to launch with sufficient day-1 retail stock. This is great news for PC gamers, as sufficient retail stock will lead to less “scalping” and allow gamers to get access to new graphics cards in faster timeframes.

Will Overclockers UK’s Radeon RX 9070 XT stock remain at MSRP?

As was reported earlier today, retailers have not been able to purchase AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT GPUs at or below AMD’s MSRP. Retailers are currently relying on AMD’s support to achieve MSRP pricing. This comes in the form of payments from AMD, effectively allowing retailers to discount some of their inventory to MSRP pricing levels. This support is only available for a specific number of graphics cards. If/when those GPUs sell out, we can expect to see price increases for lower-cost RX 9000 series GPU models. After that, we don’t expect to see MSRP Radeon RX 9070 series GPUs for a while.
