SPARKLE confirms 24GB Intel ARC Battlemage B580 GPU models
Sparkle reveals May/June launch for 24GB Intel ARC B580 graphics cards
Shortly after Intel launched their ARC “Battlemage” B580 graphics card, there were rumours that a larger 24GB variant was in development. This market would target professional users, rather than a standard gaming audience. Now, the GPU manufacturer Sparkle has confirmed that they have 24GB models coming, with a planned May/June launch. This confirmation was uncovered by Videocardz, who spotted several posts from Sparkle China.
Intel’s standard ARC B580 graphics cards feature 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM. By doubling that to 24GB, Intel can target their ARC Battlemage graphics cards at a wider audience. With more VRAM, Intel’s graphics cards become more useful for AI workflows and other creative uses. With extra VRAM and dual video encoders/decoders, 24GB B580 GPUs could be highly valued by video editors and creators.

Sadly, Sparkle’s comments are far from an official release confirmation. The company has stated that the “original plan was May-June”, not that it will be then. Regardless, we wouldn’t expect Sparkle to make these comments publicly if they didn’t plan to launch 24GB ARC B580 GPU models.
