Wasabi Mango’s 4K 120Hz PC display is now available for purchase from Korea
Today we have an answer for those questions, thanks to new eBay listings from Korean monitor traders, pricing this display at $1,399.99 with free shipping to the US an Europe, which roughly equates to £1,000 here in the UK. Remember that this cost does not take into account any import duties which must be paid when the product is shipped outside of Korea, which will add to the monitor’s already high price.Â
The Wasabi Mango UHD430 REAL 4K i20 makes use of DisplayPort 1.4 to support a resolution of 4K a 120Hz with support for full 4:4:4 chroma, using a 43-inch AH-IPS panel with 10-bit colour support and a 5ms GTG response time. This display supports two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs with 120Hz 4K support, with the screen’s three HDMI 2.0 support offering a maximum of resolution of 4K at 60FPS. Â
The UHD430 REAL 4K i20 does not support any form of variable refresh rate technology, though the monitor does support firmware updates via USB. Some of Wasabi Mango’s other displays have been updated with AMD FreeSync support in the past, though it is unknown if this 4K 120Hz beast of a monitor will receive the same treatment.Â
Wasabi Mango lists this monitor with HDR support with a maximum brightness of 400 nits, offering 4K 120Hz support using one of the monitor’s two DisplayPort 1.4 ports or 4K 60Hz using any of the displays three HDMI 2.0 ports, making this monitor ideal for use with both PCs and consoles.Â
Sadly, a brightness of 400 nits is a far cry from the 1,000 nits required for full HDR10 coverage, though it is a notable boost over most standard displays. At this time it is unknown whether or not this display offers any form of local dimming support, which would enhance the display’s black levels.Â
Remember that ordering monitors for foreign countries carries a lot of potential risks, aside from the difficulties that are associated with customs duties and international shipping. If a monitor arrives damaged or presents a fault shortly after ordering, returning, refunding or replacing the display is difficult, so keep this in mind if you intend to order such a large monitor internationally. Â
Here is the first eBay listing that we have found for Wasabi Mango UHD430 120Hz REAL 4K i20 monitor, though note that the seller does not have a 100% seller rating.Â
