ASUS’ RTX 4070 Dual graphics card has been pictured ahead of launch

Ahead of the graphics card’s official reveal, ASUS’ RTX 4070 Dual graphics card design has leaked onto the web, showcasing what appears to be a dual-fan, dual-slot heatsink.

With their RTX 40 series GPU designs, ASUS appears to be using a new design aesthetic for their Dual series GPUs, this time opting for an interesting two-tone back/white design instead of their last-generation, mostly black, RTX 3070 Dual heatsink design. Currently, it is unknown if this graphics card will an 8-pin PCIe power connector or a 12VHPWR connector for power, and the pixelated nature of the GPU’s leaked image makes it unclear how many display outputs this model offers.

Like other RTX 4070 leaks, ASUS’ RTX 4070 Dual image confirms that Nvidia will be launching their RTX 4070 with 12GB of GDDR6X memory, and recently leaked benchmarks have revealed that Nvidia’s RTX 4070 should deliver RTX 3080-like performance alongside a larger frame buffer and RTX 40 series features like DLSS 3 (Frame Generation) support and AV1 Encoding.

Nvidia’s RTX 4070 is reportedly launching for $599 in the US, and ASUS’ RTX 4070 Dual design is likely to be available at Nvidia’s MSRP price at launch.
