Anand produce AM2 performance chart

As compared with 939

An interesting read and you can see for yourself that the performance increase is not as much as hoped.

With Intels Conroe around the corner and only slight increases from 939 then it may be a dissapointing next socket for AMD.

However: this performance is excellent seeing as Anand have only seen decreases in performance from AM2 before so this is certainly a step up.

The real world performance does not seem to be immense: but the bandwidth increase in ScienceMark is 36%

We will wait until AM2 is released to see if AMD can pull some more performance out of AM2
