Ducky pushes for silent typing with its Cushion 98 keyboard and shush switches
Ducky showcases its new Cushion 98 and other keyboards at Computex 2025
Weâve visited the Pro Gamers Group booth at Computex 2025, and that booth included products from a ton of brands. We saw HAVN, noblechairs, Ducky, Nitro Concepts, and many others. In this article, we will be talking about what Ducky had to show at the booth, specifically, their ultra-quiet Cushion 98 keyboard.

Meet the Ducky Cushion 98
At Computex 2025, Ducky showcased their quietest keyboard to date, the Cushion 98. This keyboard uses what Ducky calls “cushioned typing”. Each key switch is suspended and dampened to provide users with a quieter typing experience. Additionally, Ducky is using custom “Ducky Shush” key switches to enable even lower noise levels.
Ducky’s “Shush” key switches will be available in linear and tactile forms. Below you can see the levels of damping that are included with this keyboard. Its frame is removable, enabling an added layer of customisation, either through buying custom surrounds or by painting/modding your own.
Connectivity-wise, these keyboards support tri-mode connectivity. This means that it can be used wired, with Bluetooth, or using a lower-latency 2.4 GHz wireless connection. Furthermore, the Cushion 98 is also VIA compatible.
Year of the Snake Tinker 75
At Computex, Ducky showcased its Tinker 75 Year of the Snake Edition keyboard. Only 2025 of these limited edition keyboards will be built, and all of them will be numbered. This keyboard was created with Paiwan artist Tjaiping.
Honestly, this keyboard is as much a work of art as it is a keyboard. The front and back of this keyboard feature custom artwork, and the art is so good that it’s a shame that the underside of this keyboard will rarely be seen. Typing-wise, it is a Tinker 75, so if you are familiar with this keyboard, you will know what to expect.
At their booth, Ducky also showcases its wealth of custom keycap, cable, and switch options. They also highlighted their new Ducky One 2 Limited Edition Ducky X hololive keyboard. This custom keyboard and accessories were inspired by the VTuber FUWAMOCO, and were designed by illustrator Mitarashi-Neko.
While it was a prototype, Ducky’s new Cushion 98 keyboard was easily our favourite keyboard of Computex 2025. We have a preference for quiet keyboards, so that alone has made us very interested in the Cushion 98. It’s just a shame that the noise at and around the booth prevented us from hearing how quiet the Cushion 98 is.
