According to our source, Logitech recently received FCC approval for a new wireless keyboard/mouse combination called “Cordless Desktop Wave”. As Logitech’s first foray into manufacturing keyboards for Micrsoft’s Windows Vista OS, the new ‘Wave’ keyboards will have a number of dedicated keys exclusively for corresponding to Vista features.

Directly above the slight curved Wave, there are larger multimedia controls, which however, still do not integrate the SlimDevices wireless music systems, which Logitech acquired last year. The playback controls are surrounded by four buttons that allow access to Vista Gadgets, the Photo Gallery, the Windows Media Player and the Media Center.

The Wave also offers keys for Vista’s Flip3D feature and a function to put the PC into sleep mode. The enclosed mouse also supports Flip3D by clicking and the scroll wheel.
