ADATA demos its XPG Project Infinity DDR5 memory at Computex

ADATA’s new XPG “Project Infinity” DDR5 memory kits are stunning

ADATA XPG is well known for its memory kits, and at Computex 2025, the company has showcased new “Project Infinity” modules that promise high speeds, high capacities, and striking visuals.

As the name suggests, “Project Infinity” DDR5 modules have an infinity mirror effect at the top of each module. When combined with the memory’s RGB lighting, this gives XPG’s newest DDR5 modules an exciting new look.

Performance-wise, these new modules will be available with speeds between 6,000 MT/s and 8,000 MT/s and capacities of 16GB, 24GB, 32GB, or 48GB per module. Note that XPG also lists CAS latencies of CL30, CL32, CL34, and CL38. Unfortunately, it is unclear which latencies are available with which speed options.

These modules were shown running at 8,000 MT/s speeds on the Computex show floor. This was with a system using Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285K CPU and an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z890 HERO motherboard. This system also used an ADATA XPG MARS 980 Blade SSD.

With its new Project Infinity modules, the ADATA team is clearly diversifying its DDR5 memory offerings. These new modules are for PC builders who demand strong DRAM performance and a striking visual aesthetic. Given the popularity of tempered glass windows on modern PCs, targeting this market appears to be a winning proposition for ADATA.
