Ultra-high speeds and high density DIMMs – G.Skill are taking DDR5 to the next level

G.Skill have just revealed new Trident Z5 DDR5 memory kits that can deliver DDR5-8000 speeds on new 24GB DRAM modules, combining insane speeds with high module densities.

These new dual-channel memory kits are designed for Intel’s Raptor Lake processors, offering users 48GB of DRAM at high DDR5-8000 speeds with CL38-48-48 latencies. If you want high performance levels and lots of available DRAM, these new modules may be the perfect DDR5 DIMMs for you.

G.Skill’s new DDR5-8000 Trident Z5 memory kits will be available in April 2023 under the company’s Trident Z5 RGB series, supporting XMP 3.0 for optimal compatibility with Intel 700 series motherboards.

With an i9-13900K processor, G.Skill has achieved incredible 123.76 GB/s read speeds, 120.75 GB/s write speeds, and 118.02 GB/s copy speed in the AIDA64 memory bandwidth benchmark. Simply put, this is an insane level of bandwidth for a dual-channel system.

At this time, G.Skill has not revealed the pricing of these new 24GB DDR5-8000 memory kits, though we do not expect these enthusiast-class DDR5 memory modules to be cheap. As we mentioned before, G.Skill plans to release these new DDR5 modules worldwide in April 2023.
