It’s fast! – ASUS unveils official ROG DDR5 “Edition 20” memory

ASUS’ first DDR5 memory kit offers high capacities and tight timings

ASUS has just showcased its first official ROG DDR5 memory modules at an ROG event in China. These modules are official ASUS ROG DDR5 memory modules, not “ROG Certified” modules. With SK Hynix M-Die ICs, 24GB per module capacities, and a black-and-gold design, these modules are premium. In China, these modules have been listed at 5999 yuan, which translates to £661 or $884.

These memory modules support both Intel XMP and AMD EXPO profiles, with DDR5-6000 speeds with tight CL26-36-36-76 timings. However, these modules also feature an “ROG Mode” speed of DDR5-8000 with CL36-48-48-110 timings.

Alongside their high speeds and tight timings, ASUS’ new DDR5 memory modules also feature ASUS Aura Sync RGB lighting and a “lifetime” warranty. These modules will reportedly be available soon alongside other ROG Edition 20 products. Other ROG 20 products include the ASUS ROG Crosshair 2006 motherboard.
