Team Group aims to create DDR5-9000 memory with their new CKD tech

Team Group’s new Client Clock Drivers are pushing its DDR5 memory speeds to new levels

Team Group has today announced that they have created new JEDEC standard DDR5-6400 memory modules, becoming one of the first memory manufacturers to create high performance DDR5 memory modules that meet JEDEC’s exacting requirements. 

These new DDR5 memory modules have been created thanks to Team Group’s adoption of new CKD (Client Clock Driver) chips, which allow high frequency signals to be steadily transferred from CPUs to DDR5 memory kits. With these new chips, Team Group plans to create faster non-JEDEC DDR5 memory modules, enabling higher overclocked memory speeds and greater levels of DDR5 memory performance.  

    To ensure a stable performance of 6400 MHz and above of the DDR5, Team Group has adopted the new CKD (client clock driver) components designed to strengthen, buffer, and steadily output high-frequency signals from the CPU to DDR5 memory kits, effectively ensuring high frequencies while supporting reliable high-speed transmissions. Team Group is dedicated to R&D and working simultaneously with motherboard manufacturers for rigorous compatibility testing, offering high-quality and highly compatible memory products for desktops and laptops to consumers around the world, fulfilling user demands for PC, laptops, or other small systems.

With their new CKD solution, Team Group plans to create new DDR5 memory kits under their T-FORCE and T-CREATER brands that can achieve exceptional frequencies. In the future, Team Group plans to create overclocked memory kits that can achieve speeds of DDR5-9000 or higher, enabling ultra-fast gaming experiences and incredibly levels of throughput for creators.

    With the development of new technologies, Team Group is seeking to apply the CKD solution to DDR5 memory kits for Team Group’s T-FORCE gaming brand and creators’ brand, T-CREATE, in hopes of upping frequencies in OC memory to 9000 MHz or higher, to deliver ultra-fast gaming experiences for gamers, and reliable, high-performance information processing solutions for creators.
