EVGA Frostbite 2 TIM plans to make your CPUs and GPUs cooler

EVGA has just released its second generation Thermal Interface Material (TIM), a thermal grease that’s designed to deliver highly efficient heat transfer between both CPUs/GPUs and their heatsinks.

On EVGA’s website, each tube of this thermal paste costs $7.99 in the US (including a $5 instant rebate) and for that money, you will get a compound which supports temperatures of between -40 and 180 degrees. This makes this TIM suitable for practically any use case.

When it comes to thermal conductivity, EVGA has listed that Frostbite 2 Thermal Grease with a conductivity value of 1.6 W/m-K. Most TIM manufacturers do not publish this value, making us unable to compare this TIM to competing offerings without dedicated testing.

EVGA’ Frostbite 2 Thermal Compound is currently available to order on EVGA’s website
