Cooler Master 12V-2×6 “GPU Shield” has arrived in Europe

Cooler Master’s “GPU Shield” is coming to Europe

Cooler Master is officially bringing its “GPU Shield” 12V-2×6 add-on to Europe, with retail availability starting next week. The adapter is already available in the US and China, but the European version differs in two key ways. In Europe, the device will cost €29.99 and come with a two-year warranty. In contrast, the US version costs $49.99 and includes a three-year warranty. Otherwise, both products appear identical.

We saw this GPU Shield in action at the Cooler Master booth at Computex 2026. The tool detects current imbalances on 12V-2×6 power connectors. When it detects anomalous behaviour, the device starts a warning buzzer, prompts users to stop what they are doing, and shuts down the system. After that, users can check their 12V-2×6 cables, reseat them, or replace them (if necessary). This add-on is an in-line device that sits between your GPU and PSU. This makes this device compatible with all 12V-2×6/12VHPWR PSUs and GPUs.

Sadly, we have not received an official UK price for Cooler Master’s GPU Shield. That said, we should know soon once this new product hits UK retailers. At €29.99, this is an incredibly affordable add-on. Not much to pay for a little more peace of mind.
