Silence! The MSI MEG Ai1600T PCIe 5 is now Cybenetics A++ noise rated
MSI’s new Ai1600T power supply has been rated as one of the quietest on the market
MSI has just confirmed that its new MEG Ai1600T PCIE5 power supply has become its first Cybenetics A++ rated power supply, making it one of the quietest PSUs on the market.
To achieve this rating, MSI needed this PSU to have a noise output of under 15 dB(A) under load. Based on Cybenetics’ publically available PSU testing data, MSI’s new Ai1600T PSU achieved an average noise level of 9.37 dB(A). In other words, they passed Cybenetics’ testing with flying colours.
The MSI MEG Ai1600T PCIE5 just earned the @cybenetics A++ Noise certification, making it one of the quietest Titanium PSU on the market. With 1600W power, PCIe 5.1 compatibility, and dual 12V-2×6 power connectors.

We looked at MSI’s Ai1600T PSU at CES 2025, and it is an impressive unit. The PSU is ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 certified, features two 12V-2×6 power outputs, and is both 80 Plus and Cybenetics Titanium rated. MSI claims that this is the worldâs first PSU to use server-grade Infineon SiC MOSFETs, enhancing the efficiency and thermals of this all-digital power supply.
MSI Ai1600T PCIe5 Specifications
Like all modern MSI power supplies, this unit features MSI’s dual-colour 12V-2×6 power cables. This helps to ensure that PC builders fully insert their 16-pin GPU power connectors by making their power pins extra visible. Both 12V-2×6 cables on this PSU are native 12V-2×6 cables.
This new PSU measures 190mm x 150mm x 86mm. This makes the MSI Ai1600T relatively small for a power supply of this wattage capacity. Regardless, standard ATX PSUs are 140mm x 150mm x 86mm. That means this PSU may not be compatible with all ATX PC cases.
