Super Flower Reveals 2500W PSU

Few PC builders need over 1kW of power, but those that do should undoubtedly demand the best. If you need over 1kW of electrical juice to power your system, you are undoubtedly using some extremely high-end components, with multi-GPU systems and insane CPU core counts coming to mind.

With ultra-high core count processors like the Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX hitting the market, it is clear that there is a need for insane power supply units to keep systems under control, especially those that also rely on heavy multi-GPU compute. This is where Super Flower comes in with their incredible new 2500W Leadex Platinum design.

As the name suggests, the Leadex Platinum 2500W is an 80 Platinum rated power supply, packing enough power to drive four normal gaming systems. Should cryptocurrency mining come back into vogue, Super Flower will have an easy time selling these new 2500W power supplies, but outside of that market, there are a few use cases that could accommodate this power supply.

Another market that would suit this power supply is the dual-system market, as power splitter products are available that could enable this unit to power two complete PCs. Need a single PSU solution to power your streaming/editing and gaming systems simultaneously? This 2500W should have more than enough power for your needs, even if both systems are heavily overclocked.
