Today, we get our first look at Battlefield V single-player gameplay, with footage from all three of the game’s “War Stories” Campaign sections, each of which will follow a unique collection of characters across several locations and times during World War II.

Below we have three videos, each of which is around 10 minutes long, coming from the YouTuber Lossy through EA’s “Game Changer Network”, which granted selected gamers early access Battlefield V at an event in London.

Below is footage from the “Tirailleur” War Story, which follows members of the titular Tirailleurs regiments, troops which were recruited in France’s colonial territories. This War Story perhaps offers the largest scale battle within Battlefield V’s campaign, focusing on the racial tensions between the troops in that time as the Tirailleurs fight for a homeland that they had never stepped foot into before the war.

This next video showcases the Nordlys War Story, which takes place in Norway during its German occupation. Here, players will fight behind enemy lines as they work to gather intelligence and sabotage or destroy German equipment.

Later in the video, a section of cross-country skiing is also shown, revealing the picturesque landscapes that Battlefield V can offer as well as a new transportation mechanic for snow-covered landscapes.

Last, but not least, we have Under No Flag, a stealth mission where players attempt to infiltrate a German hanger, hoping to destroy high-value aircraft and other equipment. Here, two English soldiers will face the might a full army, with the usual witty banter that you should expect from a DICE campaign.

No footage of Battlefield V’s “The Last Tiger” is available, though it is said to be a War Story that is told from a German perspective, shortly before the War comes to a close.
