Alien Rogue Incursion has been revealed for all major VR platforms

Alien Rogue Incursion is coming to Quest 3, PSVR 2 and PC

Servios has announced that Alien: Rogue Incursion will be launching in “Holiday 2024”, landing as a VR-only game for all major high-end VR platforms. These platforms include PCVR, Quest 3, and PlayStation VR 2 (PSVR2). At this time, it looks like the game isn’t coming to Oculus Quest 2 VR headsets.

The game has been described as a “single-player, action-horror VR game”. It has been developed in collaboration with 20th Century Fox, who revealed a partnership with Servios almost two years ago. Servios is the studio behind Raw Data, the popular VR-only sci-fi action game.

Servios has stated that their new Alien game will be their “biggest, most ambitious VR game” to date. You can watch the game’s reveal trailer below.

This brand-new single-player, action-horror VR game features an original story that fully surrounds players within the terrors of the Alien universe.

Designed by Alien fans for Alien fans, Survios brings their expertise to crafting this technically advanced, and frightfully immersive Alien virtual reality game.

Currently, it is unknown if this game will be playable on Meta’s Quest 2 or Quest Pro VR headsets natively. They both will be able to play the game in PCVR mode, but will these headsets be able to run the game without a VR-ready PC setup?

Earlier this month, Meta dropped the price of the Quest 2 VR headset to under £200. Now, it looks like Quest 3 only games will be launching soon, undermining the value proposition of their older Quest 2 headsets. There are also rumours that Meta are working on a cheaper “Lite” version of the Quest 3 VR headset.
