A Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer will be released on December 5th
Rockstar Games confirms that Grand Theft Auto IV will be receiving its first trailer next week
December is here, and that means that we will soon be hearing about the next Grand Theft Auto. Last month, Rockstar Games confirmed that we would be hearing about Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) in early December. Now, we have an official date for the trailer, December 5th.
With a December 5th release date, it looks like Rockstar will not be showcasing their new game at this year’s The Game Awards. Last month, many analysts predicted that Grand Theft Auto 6 would be showcased at the gaming awards showcase. Now, we can confirm that this is not the case.
This month will see Rockstar Games celebrate their 25th anniversary. Part of these celebrations will be the reveal of the company’s newest GTA game.
Currently, it is unknown what Rockstar’s next Grand Theft Auto game will be called. GTA 6 is an obvious name, but it is possible that the game will receive another title. After all, games like Vice City, and San Andreas exist.

Prior leaks for GTA 6 have claimed that the game will be located in a fictional Miami-like location. The game also reportedly features two protagonists, one of which is female. This will be a first for the GTA franchise.
Rockstar’s new game is expected to be exclusive to current-generation hardware platforms, like Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Hopefully, GTA 6 will launch on PC alongside consoles on day-1. That said, Rockstar has a habit of releasing their games on PC long after their console counterparts.
