AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D MSRP leaked – Cost-effective gaming CPU
AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 5 7600X could cost $249
Rumour has it that AMD is launching a new X3D CPU next month. No, it’s not a 9000X3D CPU, but a new budget-oriented X3D CPU called the Ryzen 5 7600X3D. Basically, this a Ryzen 5 7600X with 3D V-Cache. This update gives this GPU a boost in gaming workloads, or anything else that benefits from having lots of L3 cache.
Moore’s Law is Dead has reported that AMD is currently planning to launch this CPU for $249. However, it has been claimed that this isn’t AMD’s finalised MSRP. However, his source did stated that the CPU was expect to launch for less than $300. Additionally, it was stated that this CPU is focused on OEM and SI customers, not DIY PC builders.
The planned MSRP of $249 sits in line with our expect MSRP for AMD’s new processor. This CPU will be notably more expensive than AMD’s Ryzen 5 7600X, but slightly less expensive than AMD’s new Ryzen 5 9600X. For gamers, AMD’s X3D chip should be a better option than their non-X3D Zen 5 chip.
Currently, it is unknown how widely available AMD’s Ryzen 5 7600X3D will be. Will stock of this CPU quickly disappear after launch? Is it going to be more readily available than the Ryzen 5 5600X3D? Will it be the budget gaming CPU we all expect it to be? I guess we will find out when this CPU launches.
