Bend Studios releases a detailed FAQ on Days Gone’s PC version

Days Gone is launching on PC on May 18th, arriving on the platform digitally through Steam and the Epic Games Store. On PC, Days Gone will support more features than the game’s PS4/PS5 versions and include all of the game’s DLC for free at launch. 

Bend Studio, the developer behind Day’s Gone, has released a detailed FAQ about the game’s PC version, confirming that the game’s recommended system requirements target 60 FPS, that the game will support ultra-wide 21:9 and 32:9 monitors, and that the game will feature keyboard/mouse controls. 

On PC, Days Gone will support an unlocked framerate, allowing PC gamers to target higher framerates than the game’s PS4/PS5 versions, making 120 FPS possible within the game for the first time. Additionally, Sony has confirmed that Days Gone will support a veriety party gamepads, including DualShock 4, Dualsense, Xbox controllers, and Steam controller.

Visually, Days Gone’s PC version will look a lot like its PS4/PS5 predecessors, offering users higher level of detail settings, wider field of view options, and increased foliage draw distance options. Days Gone will not support ray tracing or DLSS on PC. 

The PC version of Days Gone will use the DirectX 11 API and be built for Windows 10 based systems. While HDD storage and 8GB of system memory will be enough to play the game, Sony has recommended that PC gamers invest in 16GB of system memory and SSD-based storage to play the game with. 

Days Gone will be playable on a lot of older PC systems, with the game’s minimum system requirements listing Intel’s i5-2500K processor and AMD’s FX-6300 CPU, and graphics cards like Nvidia’s GTX 780 and AMD’s R9 290. The game will require 70GB of storage on PC, with Sony recommending SSD-based storage solutions.
