Bethesda officially teases its upcoming The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster

It’s official. Bethesda has started to tease its upcoming Remake/Remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The studio says that “All will be revealed” tomorrow at 4 PM BST.

This news comes one week after leaked images of the game were circulated online. Rumour has it that Bethesda has recreated The Elder Scrolls IV using Unreal Engine 5, and that it will be released very soon. Soon, Bethesda will reveal everything, and if the rumours are true, the game could be “shadow dropped” tomorrow. In other words, the game could be revealed and released on the same day.

If recent rumours are to be believed, this remake will launch on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. In other words, the modern incarnations of the original game’s platforms. There is no word on an official Nintendo Switch 2 version, though such a version is undoubtedly possible.

The good news is that gamers will not need to wait long before they know everything they need to about this remake/remaster. We will report on Bethesda’s announcement as soon as it happens. Until then, prepare yourselves for Oblivion.
