Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is getting a remake

2013 classic, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, is getting a remake

At The Game Awards, 505 Games announced that Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is getting a remake. The remake is due to launch on February 28th 2024 and arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The original Brothers: A Take of Two Sons launched in 2013. The game follows two bothers on their quest to save their father. Players control both brothers on their journey through a fantasy world filled with fictitious creatures. Players control both brothers using a single controller. The game’s remake will add a new co-op mode to the game.

The original Brothers game was created by Starbreeze Studios. Josef Fares was the game’s director. Josef Fares later founded Hazelight Studios and created games like A Way Out, and It Takes Two.

Brothers is considered a classic by many gamers, and over ten years have passed since the game launched. Now seems to be the perfect time for a modern remake with updated graphics, a re-recorded soundtrack, and refined gameplay.

505 Games’ Brothers Remake will be launching on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The PC version will be available on the Epic Games Store, Steam, and GOG at launch.
