Capcom launches Monster Hunter Wilds Benchmark on Steam

Monster Hunter Wilds now has a free PC benchmarking tool on Steam

As promised, Capcom has released a free benchmark tool for Monster Hunter Wilds’ upcoming PC version. The game is launching on February 28th, and the game will have its second round of open beta tests soon.

This benchmarking tool will allow PC gamers to see how Monster Hunter Wilds will look and perform on their systems. This will allow them to know which graphical settings they will need to adjust when the game launches or if they will need a hardware upgrade to run the game.

Monster Hunter Wilds’ next round of Open Beta tests will be playable between February 6th and 9th and February 13th and 16th. This beta test will include the same content as the first, and include an additional hunt. More information about the open beta is available here.

At the end of each benchmark run, the tool will give gamers a score and average framerate information. Note that frame-generation techniques will lower benchmark scores due to their overhead. This benchmark only counts rendered/real frames.

Monster Hunter Wilds will support Nvidia’s DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.1 at launch. Nvidia users should be able to upgrade to Nvidia’s newer DLSS 4 upscaler using the company’s DLSS Override feature, which is available in their newest GPU drivers.
