CapFrameX Beta 1.7.5 delivers RTX 50 series and DLSS Multi Frame Generation support

Benchmarking RTX 50 series GPUs has just become a lot easier

CapFrameX, the popular PC benchmarking utility, has just been updated to support Nvidia’s new RTX 50 series GPUs. Note that these new GPUs come with support for DLSS 4 and its Multi Frame Generation (MFG) technology.

This new beta version of CapFrameX adds support for “MsBetweenDisplayChange” metrics, which delivers more consistent results when testing frame interpolation technologies. It was first added earlier this month to produce more accurate XeSS 2 Frame Generation results, and now it has been updated to deliver more accurate DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation results.

With this new metric, data charted using CapFrameX now more accurately reflects the user experience of Frame Generation users. This gives reviewers a more precise performance evaluation. This month, CapFrameX was also updated to add tracing support for AMD’s driver-based Fluid Motion Frames technology.

Advanced Frame Generation technologies are changing the way that games are benchmarked. This month alone, CapFrameX has been updated multiple times to deliver more accurate benchmarking results for AMD, Intel, and Nvidia Frame Generation technologies. Today’s update to CapFrameX responds to Nvidia’s incoming RTX 50 series launch.
