CD Projekt Red promises Cyberpunk patches and help with Refunds

CD Projekt Red has released a public statement regarding the base last-gen versions of Cyberpunk 2077, apologising for the current state of the game on those systems. CD project Red didn’t show those versions of the game before launch, and both players and analysts are not pleased with their buggy state and lacklustre performance.

Moving forward, CD Projekt Red plans to release frequent patches for Cyberpunk 2077 on all platforms, squashing bugs while improving the last-generation versions of Cyberpunk on last-generation consoles. The first round of Cyberpunk updates are due within the next week, and larger patches are due to launch in January and February 2021 to deliver larger improvements to the game.

In addition to these plans, CD Projekt Red has promised to help players get a refund if they desire one, promising hassle-free refunds on PSN and Xbox Live respectively. Owners of boxed editions of Cyberpunk can try to get a refund from the retailer where they purchased the game, and have created a help email for those who have trouble getting a refund in-store.
