Codemasters releases F1 2019’s PC system requirements
While the PC system requirements, which are shown below, are similar, F1 2019 does ship with a range of visual upgrades, including changes to lighting, more accurate material simulation and a slew of other adjustments. F1 2019 also sees the addition of the F2 2018 season, which includes racers such as George Russell, Lando Norris and Alexander Albon.Â
When compared to F1 2019, the game’s minimum PC system requirements remain the same, but the game’s recommended hardware specs have seen an uptick, as well as an addition of DirectX 12 support.  Â
Now, Intel’s i5-9600K is recommended instead of the i5-8600K, while the RX 580 and GTX 1060 are replaced with the RX 590 and GTX 1660 Ti respectively. The game’s storage requirements have also increased from 50GB for F1 2018 to 80GB.Â
When this game launches it will be interesting to see how DirectX 12 impacts performance, as well as how the game’s enhanced graphics impact both the game’s performance and visuals, particularly when comparing tracks in like-for-like conditions.Â
