Control Resonant will be Nvidia’s next big RTX showcase

Control Resonant will launch on PC with path tracing, DLSS 4.5, and RTX Mega Geometry

Nvidia has confirmed that Control Resonant will be launching with all of the latest RTX goodies. On PC, the game will ship with DLSS 4.5, Path Traced effects, and Nvidia RTX Mega Geometry.

Control was a graphical showcase when it launched on PC, and Control Resonant aims to take things to the next level. With path tracing, frame generation, AI upscaling, and RTX Mega Geometry, Control Resonant should look and play best on RTX-powered PCs. Sadly, Control Resonant still lacks a firm release date, though it is targeting a 2026 launch.

To this day, CONTROL remains a stunning graphical showcase, with multiple, immersive ray-traced effects enhancing every aspect of the game. CONTROL Resonant takes image quality and immersion to the next level by launching with path-traced effects and NVIDIA RTX Mega Geometry, enhanced by DLSS Ray Reconstruction, and accelerated by DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation!

Control Resonant isn’t Control 2

Unlike Control, Control Resonant will be a hack-and-slash game, with Dylan Faden’s weapon being “The Aberrant”, a shape-shifting melee weapon. Manhattan is facing paranormal annihilation, and Dylan has to leave the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) to combat this threat.

Dylan needs to unlock his full supernatural potential and comprehend and contain the paranormal threats facing New York. The city is overrun by the chaotic “Hiss” and the invasive “Mold”, both of which seek to tear the world apart.

With path tracing, DLSS 4.5, and RTX Mega Geometry, Control Resonant aims to take Control’s visuals to the next level. More robust use of ray tracing, higher quality upscaling, and new RTX-enhanced game features.
