Creative Assembly dives deep into Lords of the End Times – Release date revealed!
Total War: Warhammer III – Lords of the End Times is launching next month
Creative Assembly have just released a full DLC overview of Total War: Warhammer III’s Lords of the End Times DLC, and it is BIG. This is Total War: Warhammer’s biggest DLC to date, and this DLC’s free update is literally game-changing. Lords of the End Times is coming to PC on September 24th, with the DLC’s four Legendary Lords being available separately and as part of a 4-Lord bundle.
Four Legendary Lords with new units, heroes, Lords and Regiments of Renown
Lords of the End Times will launch with four new Legendary Lords. With each Lord comes access to Total War: Warhammer III’s Immortal Empires campaign. This means that series newcomers will not need to buy the base game to play this DLC.
This DLC’s four Legendary Lords are Nagash, the Supreme Lord of the Undead; Thanquol, the Grey Seer; Boris Todbringer, Elector Count of Middenland; and The Glottkin, champions of Nurgle.
Nagash is easily the highlight of this DLC, giving players access to the entire undead roster. This includes units from the Tomb Kings, Vampire Counts, and Vampire Coast. Players will be able to play as Nagash as he works to reclaim his powers and ascend to Godhood. With Nagash comes new undead heroes, Lord options, and units for various undead factions.
Skaven fans will get access to Grey Seer Thanquol, with its “Masterplans” campaign feature, and Skreech Verminking as a Legendary Hero. Various new Verminlord options will be available, as well as various Stormfiend unit options, pusbags, and Warp-Doom Magma Cannons.
Boris Todbringer and The Glotkins extend the Empire and Nurgle Daemons factions with new campaign mechanics and units. More details about these lords and units are available here.
Free Update
Lords of the End Times will launch alongside a free update that reworks the base game. With this update comes Vampire Queen Nererata, a new Legendary Lord, alongside reworks for the Vampire Counts and Archaeon: The Everchosen.
With this DLC will come new End Game Scenarios, updated victory conditions for every legacy Legendary Lord and more. This update will also give players the ability to change Total War: Warhammer III’s Immortal Empires map in never-before-seen ways. We can expect to see more of these changes in the near future.
Each Legendary Lord for Total War: Warhammer III’s Lords of the End Times DLC will be available for £7.49. As a 4-Lord set, the complete package will be available with a 15% discount. This means that the four-lord set is available for £25.48.
