Cyberpunk 2077’s PC system requirements have been updated – Are You Ready?

CD Projekt Red has updated Cyberpunk 2077’s PC system requirements to further detail the hardware needs for one of 2020’s biggest game released. What do you need for ray tracing? Should I be using SSD storage? You can find answers to all of your questions here!

Thankfully, Cyberpunk 2077’s minimum PC system requirements remain the same as before. However, it is worth noting that the game’s recommended system requirements have changed, removing AMD’s R9 Fury graphics card from the list to add AMD’s newer RX 590 graphics card.

For 1080p high settings, AMD’s RX 590 and Nvidia’s GTX 1060 and GTX 1660 Super are recommended alongside Intel’s i7-4790 and AMD’s Ryzen 3 3200G. For 1440p Ultra settings, AMD’s RX 5700 XT and Nvidia’s RTX 2060 are recommended.

Sadly, CD Projekt Red did not disclose the framerates which these new system requirements target, making it unclear whether or not these new system requirements target 60 FPS gameplay.

For 4K Ultra gameplay, Nvidia’s RTX 2080 Super and RTX 3070 are recommended alongside AMD’s RX 6800 XT. When ray tracing is enabled, only Nvidia’s RTX series graphics cards are recommended, with Nvidia’s RTX 2060 being ready for 1080p while the RTX 3070 is ready for 1440p and the RTX 3080 is ready for 4K.

As an Nvidia-branded title, Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on PC with Geforce NOW and DLSS 2.0 support at launch.
