Dead Island 2 is currently free on the Epic Games Store

PC gamers can currently grab a free copy of Dead Island 2 on the Epic Games Store

For the next week, Dead Island 2 and Happy Game will be available for free on the Epic Games Store. This is the first set of “Mystery Games” to become free on the Epic Games Store this month. Next week, three mystery titles will be available on the platform.

We reviewed the PC version of Dead Island 2 at launch, and it performed well on a variety of hardware configurations. Since launch, the game’s PC version has improved with the addition of new content. Modders have also added Nvidia’s DLSS upscaler to the game.

If you want a game where you can smash zombies alone or in co-op mode, Dead Island 2 is a game that’s worth trying out. Now that it’s free, gamers have no excuse for avoiding the game. It runs well on PC, and it’s a lot of fun.

PC gamers can grab their free copy of Dead Island 2 until May 22nd at 4PM GMT. Note that this free game promotion only applies to the game’s Epic Games Store version. On Steam, Dead Island 2 currently costs £39.99.
