Death Stranding is coming to PC – Kojima Productions Confirms

After years of speculations, Kojima Productions has confirmed that Death Stranding is coming to PC, revealing a release timeframe of “early summer 2020”, after the game’s November 8th, 2019 launch on PlayStation 4.

At this time, Kojima Productions has not revealed where Death Stranding will release on PC, be it on Steam, the Epic Games Store or some other PC platform.

Given the game’s Summer 2020 release date, Death Stranding will have less than a year of exclusivity on PlayStation 4. The PC version of the game is also likely to ship with additional features, such as high framerate support, full 4K resolution support and other higher-end graphics options.

Death Stranding will be the first PC game to make use of Guerilla Games’ Decima Engine, which was used to power other PC exclusives like Horizon: Zero Dawn, Until Dawn and Killzone: Shadow Fall. This could open the door to other Decima Engine games coming to PC. Guerilla Games is owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment, a factor that makes the Decima Engine’s arrival on PC seem like a strange decision.

Kojima Productions confirmed the game’s PC release in the Tweet below.
