DLSS 3 and FSR 3 are coming to Space Marine 2 next month

Frame Generation support is coming to Space Marine 2 next month

Saber Interactive has confirmed that Patch 5.0 for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is launching next month. This update will bring the Dark Angels Chapter Pack to Space Marine 2 alongside DLSS 3 and FSR 3 Frame Generation support. Furthermore, this update will bring a new Operation to the game called “Obelisk”.

With this update, Space Marine 2 will receive cosmetic DLC, boosted framerates through Frame Generation, and access to new game content. Operation: Obelisk will send players to Demerium on a mission to find a replica of an Obelisk. This mission runs parallel to Space Marine 2’s campaign and will introduce a new unit to the Chaos faction. This unit is the Tzaangor Enlightened, a new “Majoris” enemy.

(Space Marine 2 now has over 5 million players)

With DLSS 3 and FSR 3 Frame Generation support, PC gamers can boost Space Marine 2’s framerates to deliver increased game smoothness/fluidity. We tested AMD’s Fluid Motion Frames 2 technology in Space Marine 2 to see the effects of Frame Generation. With official FSR 3 Frame Generation support, Space Marine 2 players can expect better visual results. Furthermore, official Frame Generation support in-game will allow more gamers to benefit from this feature.
