DLSS 4 is now available in over 100 games
DLSS 4 is now available in over 100 games, and it’s easy to see why
It’s official, DLSS 4 is hugely popular. Nvidia has confirmed that DLSS 4 is now available in over 100 games, giving it a faster adoption rate than all prior versions of DLSS. This is thanks to direct game integrations of DLSS 4, and the introduction of Nvidia’s DLSS Override tool.
Simply put, DLSS 4 is a game-changer for Nvidia. It adds Multi-Frame Generation support to RTX 50 series GPUs and introduces Nvidia’s DLSS Transformer models to all RTX GPU users. DLSS 4’s transformer model increases the image quality of DLSS. This gives gamers higher levels of image quality, less ghosting, and improved motion clarity.
Why DLSS Matters
Below we can see a comparison of Avowed with DLSS on and Avowed with DLSS off on an RTX 5070 Ti. With DLSS Super Resolution’s transformer model, Avowed can run at higher framerates while delivering higher levels of image quality than the game’s default TAA. This offers increased image quality, higher framerates, and reduced PC latencies.
With DLSS Frame Generation/Multi Frame Generation added, gamers can achieve higher levels of game smoothness through increased framerates. In Avoved, DLSS can boost framerates from 35 FPS to 215 FPS. Clearly, AI can benefit gamers.
DLSS 4 is now available in 100 games, and that list will continue to grow
DLSS is coming to more games. Nvidia is working with developers to integrate their tech into more titles. Additionally, Nvidia is bringing DLSS 4 to more games through new DLSS Override profiles.
