Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be “enhanced with RTX” – Nvidia confirms

Dragon’s Dogma 2 will feature Nvidia DLSS 3 and ray tracing at launch

Following the reveal of the RTX 40 SUPER series of graphics cards, Nvidia has confirmed that Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be launching on PC this year with RTX enhancements. Specifically, the game will release with DLSS 3 support and ray tracing on PC.

Nvidia has confirmed that Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be “enhanced with RTX” revealing that the game will support ray traced reflections and ray traced lighting on PC. To create Dragon’s Dogma 2, Capcom are utilising the company’s RE Engine. Devil May Cry 5, Monster Hunter Rise, and all recent Resident Evil games use this engine to great effect, and so far, Capcom’s new RPG looks great.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 PC System Requirements

Below are the PC system requirements for Dragon’s Dogma 2. Capcom has provided performance estimations for their listed hardware configurations. The good news is that the PC system requirements for Capcom’s new RPG are modest by today’s standard, both in terms of CPU performance and GPU performance.

MINIMUM:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 (64 bit)/Windows 11 (64 bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 10600 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 / AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT with 8GB VRAM
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Additional Notes: Estimated performance: 1080p/30fps. Framerate might drop in graphics-intensive scenes. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6800 required to support ray tracing.

RECOMMENDED:

  • OS: Windows 10 (64 bit)/Windows 11 (64 bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-10700 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 / AMD Radeon RX 6700
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Additional Notes: Estimated performance: 2160i/30fps. Framerate might drop in graphics-intensive scenes. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6800 required to support ray tracing.

Dragon’s Dogma will be launching exclusively on current-generation platforms on March 22nd 2023. This includes Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5, and PC. On PC, the game will be available though Steam.
