Dying Light 2 will release in Spring 2020 on Steam

Techland has announced that Dying Light 2 will release in Spring 2020, bringing with it enhanced visuals, a larger game world and 2-4 player co-op gameplay options. 

Within the world of Dying Light 2, the world has fallen to the virus, with the remnants of humanity fighting to survive within a new dark age, as infected roam free in the night, while survivors scavenge during the day.

In Dying Light 2, Techland plans to place decisions throughout the game, which will allow players to shape the game world. Players will take control of Aiden Caldwell, an infected survivor who has incredible parkour skills and lethal combat abilities, making him a danger to zombies and humans alike.  

Expect a twist on the same Dying Light DNA that made the original so fun to play, combining fast-paced free running with a selection of wacky weapons to deliver a satisfying gameplay experience.

THE INFECTION HAS EVOLVED

The infection has evolved and become more sensitive to UV light. Society exists in the relative safety of sunlight, while the infected hide in the shadows of buildings. At night the infected roam the streets freely searching for prey, presenting opportunities for you to explore areas of the city inaccessible by day.

2-4 PLAYER CO-OP GAMEPLAY

Play the entire campaign in up to four-player co-op. Host your own games or join other players’ and see how their choices have played out differently to your own and how they have shaped their world differently to yours.
