EA’s giving away a free month of Origin Access to gamers who enable two-factor authentication

To celebrate National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, EA is offering PC gamers one month of free Origin Access Basic to those who activate Two Factor Authentication within their Origin client. This offer is available to Origin users until the end of October.

This offer extends to new users of Origin Acess and existing users, with existing subscribers gaining a free month of Origin Access in November. Origin Access Premier Subscribers will get a free month of Origin Access Premier in November. Those who already use Origin’s login verification will also receive a free month of Origin Access.

With two-factor authentication, knowing your password alone will not be enough to access EA’s Origin platform. When using login verification, PC gamers will be sent an email, text, phone call or app authentication to verify that you are logging into Origin. This will help prevent hackers from accessing your Origin account by adding an extra layer of protection.

If you are a user of EA’s Origin client, this offer is one that is worth taking advantage of, as it will grant PC gamers free access to over 100 PC games while also securing your Origin account. That’s a win-win situation.
