343i Reveals Halo Reach's PC system requirements

Halo Reach’s PC/Xbox One release date has been revealed

Microsoft has officially announced that Halo Reach will be coming to both PC and Xbox One on December 3rd, bringing the Xbox 360 classic to modern gaming platforms with support for 4K resolutions on both PC and Xbox One.

Pre-orders for Halo: Reach are due to become available on the Windows Store and on Steam soon, with the game being part of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

Two weeks ago, 343 Industries released Halo Reach’s PC system requirements, revealing that the game will be relatively easy to run at 4K 60FPS framerates on modern hardware. This also means that 1080p gameplay will be easy on even modest gaming hardware, making the game relatively laptop-friendly.

On PC, Halo Reach will support separate Field of View options for Vehicles and First-Person viewpoints and offer players support for Resolution Scale options and multiple aspect ratios. This should allow PC gamers with 1080p monitor to downsample Halo Reach from higher resolutions if their hardware is up to the task.
