Here’s what you need to run Spider-Man 2 on PC

Is your PC ready for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?

Nixxes and Insomniac Games have just revealed the PC system requirements for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which will be released later today. Overall, the game has modest system requirements, only requiring ultra-high-end hardware when ray tracing is enabled.

On PC, the game can run on systems with GPUs as low-end as Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1650 and AMD’s Radeon RX 5500 XT. However, for 1080p 60 FPS gameplay, AMD’s Radeon RX 5700 and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3060 are recommended.

PC System Requirements

Like most modern PC games, Spider-Man 2 calls for at least 16GB of system memory and SSD storage. The game is on the large size, using 140GB of SSD storage space. The game also supports DLSS, XeSS, and FSR 3.1 upscaling on PC, and supports ultra-wide monitors, Frame Generation, and graphical settings that go beyond PlayStation 5.

Below are the game’s full PC system requirements.

Spider-Man 2 makes heavy use of ray tracing on PC

On PC, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 can make heavy use of ray tracing with ray-traced shadows, ambient occlusion, and reflections being available on PC. The PC version of the game also features higher quality ray tracing options than the game’s PS5 version. Ti also supports Nvidia’s DLSS Ray Reconstruction tech to deliver even higher levels of image quality compatible PCs.

Spider-Man 2 also features Nvidia’s CNN and Transformers models for DLSS, with the latter delivering much higher levels of image quality with a small performance hit.
