Infinity Ward is teasing this year Call of Duty
Infinity Ward shares an open letter about the next Call of Duty
Infinity Ward is getting ready to reveal the next Call of Duty, and gamers should expect big things. The studio is teasing “a new chapter” in its history, with a focus on “passion, precision, obsession, and an unrelenting drive to make the best entertainment in the industry.” Hopefully, that means that this year’s Call of Duty will be better than Black Ops 7.
Infinity Ward has claimed that they are “pushing every detail, every system, every moment to its limit.” Hopefully, this means more advanced visuals and stronger gameplay. This will be the first Call of Duty game that is exclusive to current-generation consoles. Last month, it was confirmed that this year’s Call of Duty would not be coming to PlayStation 4.
Below is Infinity Ward’s full statement.
We are Infinity Ward.
We build visceral, immersive combat experiences that hit different.
As a new chapter begins for this studio, we’re focused on what defines us: passion, precision, obsession, and an unrelenting drive to make the best entertainment in the industry.
Our next game is the result of that mindset.
Determined. Bold. Relentless. Built by a team pushing every detail, every system, every moment to its limit.
On behalf of everyone at IW, we’re proud of what we’ve been building and excited to finally start sharing it with you.

We can expect to see the next Call of Duty at Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase next month. This event should also showcase Halo: Campaign Evolved, Gears of War: E-Day, and more.
