Frontier Developments has confirmed that Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be released on November 9th on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.

The game’s story mode is set after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, where players will be working with Dr Ian Malcolm (voiced by Jeff Goldblum) and Claire Dearing (voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard) to lead the efforts of the DFW (Department of Fish and Wildlife) to control, conserve and contain wild dinosaurs let loose across the USA.

The game will include missions that are present within “ never-before-seen locations”, and challenges in the form of Jurassic World film franchise “what if” scenarios. Players will be able to take control of John Hammond’s Jurassic Park and showcase a T. rex in the San Diego Amphitheatre. Jurassic World Evolution allows gamers to explore stories that the films didn’t.

Gamers seeking more freedom will be able to use Jurassic World Evolution 2’s sandbox mode, where players can create their own Jurassic Park or Jurassic World dinosaur park using themed buildings, and decorations.
