Monster Hunter Wilds has been revealed, and it’s coming to PC on day-1

Monster Hunter Wilds has been revealed – The Next-Generation of Monster Hunter is coming in 2025

At The Game Awards, Capcom has revealed Monster Hunter Wilds, their first next-generation Monster Hunter title. The game is due to launch in 2025, arriving on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. Owners of last-generation consoles will not be venturing into the Wilds.

The trailer starts in a dusty desert landscape, showcasing a large herd of migrating creatures. Later, a hunter appears riding a bird-like animal. This hunter is being chased by a group of larger creatures. The density of these creatures is higher than anything we have ever seen before in a Monster Hunter game, and the trailer’s violent sandstorm adds ever more complexity to the scene. It is easy to see why this game is only coming to current-generation consoles.

Unlike Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Rise, Wilds will be arriving on PC at the same time as consoles. This makes sense given the popularity of its predecessors on PC. The game will be coming to PC through Steam.

Capcom has promised to reveal more about their new Monster Hunter game in Summer 2024.
