Capcom has revealed their Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta. This beta will initially be available exclusively for PlayStation 5 users with PlayStation Plus but will be open to gamers on all platforms at a later time.

The Open Beta features the game’s character creator, a “Story Trial”, and the game’s “Doshaguma Hunt”. This will cover the game’s opening scenes, tutorials, and first hunt. Character data from the Open Beta can be transferred to the full game when it is released.

On PlayStation 5, early access to this Open Beta starts on October 29th and ends on October 31st. For all platforms, this Open Beta will be available to gamers on Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation from November 1st to November 4th.

Capcom has stated that this Open Beta will weigh in at 29GB on PC and consoles. Capcom recommends that PC gamers install the latest drivers for their graphics cards before playing the beta through Steam.
