Monster Hunter World’s Iceborne expansion will arrive on PC in 2020

Even today, Monster Hunter: World remains as one of PC’s most popular games, having sat amongst Steam’s most popular titles since its release last year. At the time of writing the game has over 50,000 players on PC, making it Steam’s 8th most played game.

On September 6th, Monster Hunter: World is due to receive its long-awaited Iceborne expansion, offering players more monster to hunt, more areas to explore and plenty of new content to grind through. Sadly, Iceborne’s September 6th release date only applies to PS4 and Xbox One

PC Gamers will have to wait a lot longer for Iceborne, with Capcom confirming that the game will be coming to Steam on January 2020.

Recently, Monster Hunter: World received a PC patch which enabled Nvidia’s DLSS within Monster Hunter: World. This feature can be used to boost the game’s framerate on Nvidia RTX series graphics cards. You can read our performance and image quality analysis DLSS in Monster Hunter: World here
