Monster Hunter World’s Next PC Update will Finally Deliver 21:9 Support

Monster Hunter World remains as one of Steam’s most popular games, having occupied Steam’s top 20 games list since the game launched on the PC platform.

Now, over six months after the game’s release, Monster Hunter World will receive support for 21:9 resolutions on PC, allowing gamers to make use of ultra-wide displays without the need for game modification. Today’s 21:9 mods for the game currently offer gamers a misaligned UI, though patch 5.1 will address these issues as official support comes to the game.

Patch 5.1 will release at midnight in Europe, addressing several bugs within the game while also adding support for simplified Chinese, push-to-talk voice chat and the option to adjust the game’s Vignette options from High/Normal/Off, instead of the game’s existing On/Off options.

Full patch notes for Monster Hunter World’s PC patch 5.1 are expected to be released at midnight tonight, the same time the patch goes live on European servers.
