My Hero One’s Justice 2 will smash onto Steam in 2020
In 2020, Bandai Namco plans to release My Hero One’s Justice 2 on the same platforms as the original, taking the story into the next season of anime content, with the game’s reveal trailer featuring the villain Overhaul.
With Season 4 of My Hero Academia starting this month, we will refrain from mentioning any of the story arcs of plot points that the game should cover, but expect the game to cover season 4 of the series. At New York Comic-Con, Bandai Namco is presenting the first playable demo of the game, which the company promises is “bigger, badder, and even QUIRKIER” than before.
In the trailer, Bandai Namco confirms that the game will continue to use Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4, and that the game will release on PC via Steam, just like the game’s predecessor. At the time of writing, My Hero One’s Justice has not been listed on Steam.
The original My Hero One’s Justice was a tag-team fighter which offered similar gameplay to Dragon Ball FighterZ, delivering 3rd person action with a large cast of characters. My Hero One’s Justice 2 is due to release in 2020, likely after the conclusion of Season 4 of the Anime.
