Oblivion Remastered Update 1.2 is now available on PC and consoles

Bethesda has officially rolled out Update 1.2 for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, bringing to the game difficulty improvements, boosted performance, and other changes.

Last week, this update was released on Steam as a Beta. Now, the update is available to all gamers on PC and consoles. We’ve already tested this update and have proved that it greatly increases the game’s performance in GPU-limited scenarios. While the update also promises fewer hitches, we experienced similar stuttering as before.

Overall, Update 1.2 delivers a ton of welcome improvements. Full patch notes for update 1.2 are available to read here.

Currently, it’s unknown how many future updates Bethesda and Virtuos Studios have planned for Oblivion Remastered. Hopefully, we will see improved CPU performance and reduced stuttering with update 1.3.
