Rainbow 6 Siege Starter Edition has been released

Rainbow 6 Siege Starter Edition has been released, giving gamers the chance to purchase Rainbow 6 Siege for £11.99 while still receiving access to all of the base game’s content.

The biggest difference between this version of the game and the premium/original edition of the game is that the Starter Edition will only give players access to 4 operators at the start and have increased unlock requirements for the remaining 16 original operators.

This means that Starter Edition users will need to play the game for longer before they can unlock new operators, though they will have access to all game modes, all 11 original maps and free post-launch maps and the game’s full progression system.

This new version of the game now costs £11.99 on UPlay, with the standard edition costing £29.99. The Starter edition offers a lot of value for new players, though some will no doubt be annoyed by how long it will take for players to unlock additional content.
