Red Dead Redemption PC version spotted on Steam
Red Dead Redemption has been listed on Steam, suggesting that a PC release is imminent
Rockstar Games has listed Red Dead Redemption on the Steam Database, suggesting that the game may be launching soon on PC. A new update for Grand Theft Auto V on PC has also seen Rockstar add metadata to their launcher that confirms the game’s planned PC version.
Unlike Red Dead Redemption 2, the first game was only released on consoles. So far, PC gamers have never been able to enjoy the original through console emulation. Soon, PC gamers will finally be able to enjoy Rockstarâs western epic. Better still, the game will feature PC-only enhancements.
A previous leak for Red Dead Redemption’s upcoming PC version revealed that the game would support higher resolutions and framerates. Multi-monitor support will also be available. On consoles, Red Dead Redemption already uses AMDâs FSR 2 upscalers. As such, we expect the gameâs PC version to support all modern upscaling technologies.
Rockstar accidentally included the metadata for #RDR1 PC with today's launcher update too.

At launch, Red Dead Redemption Remastered should feature all the content from the game’s original “Game of the Year Edition”. This includes the game’s “Undead Nightmare” standalone expansion. PC gamers should benefit from all changes to the 2023 console Remasters and more upgrades. Hopefully, Rockstar will officially reveal this remaster soon.
